Upcoming changes in Polish labour law

On the Tax and Law Telegram blog, trainee attorney-at-law Paulina Czaja summarises the most important upcoming changes in employment law in 2022. We encourage you to read the article "Changes in labour law in 2022".

While it is still too early to review and possibly update or introduce new solutions in workplaces, it is worth keeping an eye on it and in the near future map out the areas that need to be regulated, including but not limited to:

• rules on parental leave;

• the rules for determining maternity benefits;

• new care leave;

• justification for the termination of fixed-term employment contracts;

• new definitions and regulation of home office;

• preventive checks on the sobriety of employees.

Should You have any questions on the matter, we encourage You to contact the attorney-at-law Karolina Barałkiewicz-Sokal and the trainee attorneys-at-law Paula Staszak and Paulina Czaja, who advise the Firm's clients on issues relating to labour law.
