Current “Time for Transparent HR” – the 6th edition of the “Praktycy dla HR” conference will take place on 19 November 2026

The 6th edition of the nationwide online conference “Praktycy dla HR”, organised by the law firm VON ZANTHIER & DACHOWSKI, will take place on 19 November 2026. This year’s event, held under the theme “Time for Transparent HR”, will focus on pay transparency, workplace bullying and discrimination, as well as the practical challenges faced by employers, management teams and HR professionals.

Pay transparency and equal pay, the prevention of workplace bullying and protection against discrimination have long been among the most important issues in people management. All these areas are now also at the centre of legal change. This means that employers need to review their internal procedures, remuneration policies, communication practices and organisational culture.

Law, business and HR practice

The “Praktycy dla HR” conference provides a platform for dialogue among business representatives, management boards, HR departments, lawyers, psychologists, and experts in organisational culture and equality policies.

The programme of the 6th edition will cover two main thematic areas:

  • • workplace bullying and discrimination in HR practice,
  • • pay transparency and equal pay.

Through expert presentations, discussions and case studies, participants will learn how to prepare their organisations for changing requirements, develop effective anti-bullying and anti-discrimination procedures, communicate about pay and combine legal requirements with communication and management practice.

Karolina Barałkiewicz-Sokal, attorney-at-law at VON ZANTHIER & DACHOWSKI and organiser of the event, will open the conference. The opening address, entitled “Transparency and trust – why the future of business depends on how we treat people”, will be delivered by Dr Katarzyna Kasia – lecturer, philosopher, journalist and public affairs commentator.

The speakers will also include experts and practitioners in employment law, HR, psychology and equality policies, including Janusz Krasoń, Dominika Sadowska, Paula Staszak-Urbańska, Joanna Ławniczak, Maciej Rosa and Michał Pajdak.

The “Safe at Work” project

This year’s conference is accompanied by the social initiative “Safe at Work. Good Practices for Employers”. Its purpose is to explore women’s experiences of workplace bullying, discrimination, sexual harassment and unequal treatment in the workplace.

The first stage of the project is a nationwide anonymous survey addressed to professionally active women. It aims to determine whether employees are familiar with the procedures in place within their organisations, know where they can report inappropriate conduct and trust that their employer will respond to a report impartially and effectively.

The survey findings will be presented in a report and during the conference. They will also form the basis of a “Code of Good Practices for Employers”, containing practical recommendations for creating safer workplaces.

The amendment to the Energy Law changes the rules for connecting renewable energy installations to the grid and increases investors’ responsibility for the actual progress of their projects. Shorter deadlines, mandatory security and flexible connection models are intended to prevent grid capacity from being blocked by so-called “zombie projects” and to improve the use of existing infrastructure.
