AI in law firms – no turning back

The central theme of this year's event was artificial intelligence. According to the presented data, most lawyers are already using AI tools in their work.

Although some speakers expressed scepticism, the prevailing belief is that AI is here to stay. It is becoming an essential tool supporting legal practice, and its effective implementation can bring significant benefits to both law firms and their clients.

Judiciary – a light at the end of the tunnel?

Another key discussion focused on the digitalization of the judiciary. While paper-based case files still dominate in many courts, there are ongoing efforts to implement AI-driven predictive analysis of case law. Experts emphasized that the priority should be digitizing court records and automating simple processes, such as formal checks of legal filings.

The Ministry of Justice has shown interest in adopting technologies that would facilitate the work of judges, and concrete steps are already being taken in this area.

One of the thematic blocks was dedicated to legal design. Regardless of how advanced our technology is, there is always a client on the other side who needs to understand us. From this perspective, clear and client-oriented legal writing remains one of the most essential skills we must develop.
