Labour law and HR consulting “Employer of the Future” conference in Poznań on 11 February 2025

On February 11, 2025, the “Employer of the Future” conference took place in Poznań, organized by the DWK – Polish-German Economic Circle in Poznań. The event gathered over 60 participants, highlighting the significance of topics related to the labour market and the challenges that legal changes in this area pose for employers.

The conference concluded a series of HR and leadership meetings under the slogan “Appetite for Growth,” which has been supported by VON ZANTHIER & DACHOWSKI and ProUp Solutions as partners since 2024.

Speakers at the conference included:

  • Prof. Dr. Jacek Trębecki from the Poznań University of Economics, who delivered a presentation titled “X, Alpha, Z – A Brief Guide to the New Generations of Employees,” discussing generational characteristics and their impact on the labour market.
  • Edyta Jagodzińska-Pawluk from ProUp Solutions presented “Future Competencies,” outlining the challenges that await employers in the coming years and the key skills necessary for the job market.

The panel discussion “Employer of the Future,” which was substantively prepared and moderated by attorney-at-law (PL) Karolina Barałkiewicz-Sokal, brought together experts:

  • Justyna Lipska, HR Manager at Schattdecor Sp. z o.o.
  • Maciej Rosa, Managing Partner at InConsulting
  • Paula Staszak-Urbańska, attorney-at-law at (PL) VON ZANTHIER & DACHOWSKI

The discussion was highly inspiring and focused on the impact of evolving regulations and the expectations of new generations on the labour market. We explored strategies for employers, taking into account the needs of younger generations and the dynamic legal environment.

For us as a law firm, knowledge sharing, collaboration with experts, and working in interdisciplinary teams are key elements in the evolving world of consulting. Labour law illustrates this best – legal expertise alone is no longer sufficient, which is why our projects often involve specialists from various fields.

Karolina Barałkiewicz-Sokal played a dual role – both as an organizer and a content partner, as she serves as Vice President of the DWK – Polish-German Economic Circle.

Paula Staszak-Urbańska and Maciej Rosa once again demonstrated their role as a team supporting employers in projects related to aligning salaries with the requirements of the EU Pay Transparency Directive, sharing practical insights and experiences.
