Production and industry Academy for Production. Law | Taxes | Accounting - February meeting is behind us

Challenges for Management Boards of Production Companies in Relations with Parent Companies – Webinar Summary

Another meeting in the " Academy for Production. Law | Taxes | Accounting" series is behind us! The event took place o n February 27, 2025.

This time, we focused on the topic: "Challenges for Management Boards of Production Companies in Relations with Parent Companies."

What did we discuss during the webinar?

Together with the participants, we addressed the question of the position of the management board in relation to the parent company and whether the parent company can issue binding instructions to the management board.

We identified the most common practical situations in which a parent company may attempt to "force" the management board to make decisions that are not optimal from the subsidiary's perspective.

We discussed whether there are ways for the management board to react in such situations.

Furthermore, we addressed the question of whether the management board is protected when following the instructions of the parent company (after all, they are merely executing an order).

Thank you for joining us!

We would like to thank all participants for attending the webinar.

From the moment the articles are signed, such a company can already operate in the market: sign contracts, purchase goods, incur obligations, or participate in commercial dealings. Once it is registered in the KRS, all its rights and obligations are “automatically” transferred to the registered limited liability company. Until this registration occurs, the company’s name must always include the phrase “in organization.”
