Education and Prevention: Preventing Discrimination and Mobbing from an Early Age

Preventing discrimination and mobbing, as well as education on human rights, are key activities that we have been developing for years, both within commercial projects and social initiatives. We engage children and young people in the education process to shape a society based on respect and justice. Our initiatives, carried out in cooperation with local schools and kindergartens, aim to equip young people with the knowledge necessary to build an inclusive and safe environment.

In our approach to preventing discrimination and mobbing, we focus on two key areas: commercial activities and social initiatives. For many years, we have been conducting training sessions that educate entrepreneurs, managers, leaders, and HR departments on counteracting discrimination and mobbing within organisations. By offering these projects, we help companies integrate anti-mobbing policies and build an inclusive workplace culture.

At the same time, we believe that human rights education should start from an early age. That is why we have engaged in social initiatives, conducting workshops for children and young people. From 2019 to 2024, attorney-at-law (PL) Karolina Barałkiewicz-Sokal led the annual "Masz Prawo" ("You Have the Right") series at the now-closed Polish-German kindergarten in Poznań. During these workshops, children had the opportunity to discuss human rights in an age-appropriate manner.

This year, together with attorney-at-law (PL) Wojciech Paryś, we have prepared workshops for seventh and eighth-grade students, focusing on the legal consequences of hate speech and cyberbullying. Primary School No. 1 in Koźmin Wielkopolski invited us to collaborate, allowing students to actively participate and gain valuable knowledge about human rights and legal responsibility. We are pleased with the engagement of young people, who enthusiastically took part in the workshops.

We plan to continue these educational activities in the coming years, aiming to build an understanding, open, and just society. We believe that human rights education will not only empower young people but also make them ambassadors of the values we collectively foster, both in professional environments and local communities.

Wind farm in Poland – liability for occupational health and safety and damage – between strict liability and contractual regulation

Several entities are usually involved in the management of a wind farm: the owner, typically a special purpose vehicle, the operational manager and the technical service provider. The boundaries of their liability do not always follow directly from statutory provisions — to a large extent, they are shaped by the contract. Below, we set out the key rules.

The new rules on the National Labour Inspectorate are now in force. Time for an audit before the inspector arrives.

The Act of 11 March 2026 amending the Act on the National Labour Inspectorate and certain other acts, signed by the President, grants labour inspectors the power to determine the existence of an employment relationship by way of a unilateral administrative decision.
